Leslie J. Hammond, M.S., CCC-SLP/Director
I am the owner and director of Therapy Zone. I also provide speech and language therapy to many of our clients. Therapy Zone has made my dream come true. Since 1988, when I first realized what I wanted to do with my life, I have been thinking, praying and planning for a clinic to serve the community in which I live. I graduated in 1992 with my Bachelor of Arts from Harding University and then went on to receive my Master of Science from the University of Central AR in 1996. I have worked with a variety of settings: public schools, rehab facilities, nursing homes, preschools, head starts, and now private practice.
Communication is part of everyone's daily life. Whether written or spoken, each person has the ability to communicate. I love what I do and love working with children and adults. Helping someone discover or improve their world through communication makes me a better person.
